Getting paid for spots that you sold on HoppingIn is straightforward but the set up can be a bit tedious. HoppingIn utilizes Stripe, a leading company for credit card processing and direct deposit, to ensure that your information is secure.

So, if HoppingIn uses Stripe then why is the process tedious? This is because Stripe (as well as every financial institution) needs to have you complete the Know Your Customer (sometimes called KYC) regulations which are enforced by the US Banking system. Essentially the KYC regulations require that we ask you a bunch of question about your business and you to ensure that you aren't a foreign entity trying to launder money. These questions won't be hard to answer, but they will be a bit invasive. Again, this isn't something that we require, it's something that Stripe is required to collect so that we can send money into your bank account.

To get your Stripe account set up, head over to the Transactions page in your account. Then, at the top of the page, select Payout Methods. This should bring you to a page with a button that says Complete Stripe Onboarding.

Clicking this button will create a direct connection to Stripe and take you through the onboarding there for direct deposit into your account.

Note that this process may take a bit and even after submitting the information you might have to wait for final confirmation. After the information is processed and confirmed, HoppingIn will begin sending your payouts.
