Spots in Hopping In move through various statuses depending on availability and the status of the child.
Only a daycare ever sees the status Approved. This is because it means that the daycare has approved the child to take an action but something is blocking that action from completing. For example, let's say that a verified child puts in a request for a standby spot on Monday. Since this child has the verified status Hopping In will automatically mark their request as Approved because you've approved their ability to pick up the spot if one was available. If a spot then opens (either because one was dropped or because you as the daycare opened one) then it will move from Approved to Fulfilled.
Fulfilled means that an open spot has actually been filled with a child.
Importantly, just because the spot has been filled does not mean that the dropping parent is sent a payout. This does not happen until after the child has attended the daycare after which the spot will be marked as Completed.
