You'll need to make sure that you've created at least one child in Hopping In before you can really start using the platform. If you didn't create children when you signed up for Hopping In (or if you've had more children - congrats!) then you can add new children by clicking Family on the left side navigation.
The Family page will show you the children that you have in Hopping In (you can click the Pen+Page icon to edit) and allow you to create new ones by selecting +Add Child.
The Add/Edit child screen is split into three sections:
Personal Information
In the personal information section you can upload an image of your child and some basic information that all daycares will require to pick up spots.
Medical and Behavioral Information
This section is important if there's any information that you think might be relevant to the daycare about your child's needs. This information is shared with the daycares so that they know if their staff is can properly facilitate your child.
Documentation
Many local laws require that you provide and that they daycare maintain proper documentation about your child including their birth certificate and vaccination record. You can upload that information here. Additionally, most daycares will require that you fill out their registration packet before admitting your child into their facility. If the daycare has uploaded their registration packet to Hopping In, you will see it here where you can download it and then re-upload it.
