In Hopping In children can have one of three statuses. These statuses are set by the daycare and greatly impact how easily they can book spots.

The three potential statuses are:

  1. Enrolled - When an enrolled child tries to drop a spot it will automatically be "approved" by the daycare. Further, an enrolled child is automatically "approved" to pick up spots in the daycare if the spots are available.
  2. Verified -When a verified child tries to drop a spot Hopping In will ask you, the daycare, to approve this drop. This is because Hopping In does not know if this child has a spot in the daycare that they are able to drop. Until the daycare approved this drop request, it will remain in a pending status.
However, when it comes to picking up spots a verified child will be automatically "approved" to pick up spots in the daycare if the spots are available
  3. Affiliated - An affiliated child has no automatic rights and every step whether dropping or picking up spots will require daycare operators to manually approve their request.
